About
Amanda Tyler-Oak is a 23-year-old actor from Brazil, currently based in Portugal. While she also writes and directs, her primary focus and passion remain in front of the camera.
After finishing high school, she moved to the United States, where she spent 2 years developing a strong foundation in acting techniques and stage presence. She later relocated to London to continue her training at MetFilm School, deepening her craft and beginning to create her own work across independent film and short-form storytelling.
During her training, Amanda discovered an unexpected passion for writing and directing. Since her course includes filmmaking, she was able to explore both sides of the creative process. She wrote and produced her first short film, AJAR, which she also stars in, and it is currently in the final stages of post-production.
Outside of her work, Amanda enjoys martial arts, figure skating, and reading. Proudly Brazilian with Portuguese heritage, she is fluent in English and Portuguese.
